Secondary / Assembly Operations
Ultrasonic Welding
An industrial technique whereby high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld.
Plating
Plating is the process of covering the surface of a part to decorate or protect it, however occasionally it is a necessary process due to functionality and the parts end application.
Spot Facing /Machining
Spot facing is the process of cleaning excess material from the part.
Machining incorporates various applications additional to moulding such as turning, drilling, and milling.
Drilling/Milling
Drilling is the process of adding holes that cannot be carried out during the moulding process.
Milling is a way of removing excess material to tighter tolerances that cannot be moulded.
