Practical Engineer
The Paul Norman Plastics brand puts producing high-quality moulded parts at the heart of its operation. We are a company of 28 employees that always strives to provide a first-class service to our clients. Providing solutions to our customers' problems has been our business for almost 40 years.
In addition to being a trade moulder, we also have our own line of products. PNP Railways provides model engineers with track and vacuum braking components. Wedge Whiteboards offers a premium line of magnetic whiteboards for primary schools. A classic gumshield range called Game Guard. PNP Breaker Boards which are used in international Taekwondo Championships around the world as the standard board for power breaking. Last but not least, we offer a range of imitation eggs to deter seagulls from breading and encourage hens to lay in the correct location. Overall, quite an eclectic mix, but all made from injection moulded parts.
To keep up with demand our team now needs a Practical Engineer to assist with maintenance, stripping, and repairing production tooling.. Making jigs and fixtures and other general engineering tasks.

Hours
We can be flexible and would like to hear from you if you are looking for either full-time or part-time work.
Full-Time - 38 Hours - 4 Day week – Tuesday to Friday – 7.00 am – 5.00 pm
or Part-Time
We need a minimum of 20 hours per week, to be worked over 3 days. Start and finish times and days worked to suit so long as they are consistent. Our core hours are 7.00 am – 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Requirements for this Role
Not everyone is an Engineer, it is a skilled occupation. To be considered for this role applicants need to be experienced in machining, turning, milling & surface grinding.
Rate of Pay - £14 an hour (£27,644) pro-rata for part-time)
25 days holiday (pro-rata for part-time)
Health Care Plan - after 6 months

Warehouse Operative
Paul Norman Plastics Ltd is in Woodchester, Stroud, and offers injection moulding services. We are seeking to hire an individual to join our small warehouse team.
The job will involve
Kitting raw materials for the mould shop.
Loading and unloading lorries - 2 or 3 deliveries a day.
Booking in deliveries and putting stock away.
Packing items ready for despatch
Helping in other areas if required, carrying out secondary operations, assembly etc.
Driving the company van to make local deliveries (once a week)
Requirements for this role
Counterbalance forklift truck licence
Clean driving licence
Ability to lift up to 25kg in weight
Basic IT skills are an advantage
Full-time – 4-day week – 38 hours per week
Monday – Thursday – 7.00 am – 5.00 pm
(½ hour unpaid lunch break)
Holiday – 25 days per year.
Rate of Pay – £9.50 - £10.00 depending on experience

Production Operative

This a varied role and will include the following:
Light Assembly work
Packing products
Machine Minding
Requirements for this role
You need to be reliable, have good dexterity skills, and be able to work as a team.

(½ hour unpaid lunch break)
