Lifeaxe - when safety depends on good design

Lifeaxe is a patented product designed to revolutionise the emergency escape hammer market. Manufactured in conjunction with a local inventor, the product has been designed to break standard or double glazing up to 8mm in thickness. It is able to do this due to its multi steel impact tips which enable an attack angle of 60 degrees.

When we were approached the hammer had been designed, and various prototypes had been made, but we needed to take the design a step further to enable us to manufacture a product; that had all the required characteristics. The end result is a hammer engineered with the professional in mind but also suitable for domestic applications as it is capable of breaking double glazing up to 8mm in thickness.
